Design an email campaign with Mailchimp AI and editor

Step-by-step

1. Click Create on the main Mailchimp page and name your email campaign.
2. Click Subject and use the AI feature by clicking Get Started, typing a few keywords, and clicking Generate.
3. Select a generated subject line and click Save.
4. Click Add Send Time and choose a specific time and date.
5. Click Design Email and select the Minimal template.
6. Click the header image and select Set Logo to add your branding.
7. Edit the headline and body text directly in the inline editor.
8. Click the image block, select Add, then Upload Image to insert a product photo.

Options

• Use Send Time Optimization to automatically identify the best send time based on subscriber patterns.
• Send emails in batches to prevent overloading your website.
• Include social media handles at the end of the email.

Watch out for

• Send Time Optimization may not work if you do not have enough subscribers yet.

Tips

• Get in the habit of rewarding interested customers with deals even if your subscriber list is small.
• Modify AI-generated subject lines to better fit your specific brand voice.
• If you don't have enough data for optimization, send emails at a time relevant to your product (e.g., Saturday morning for breakfast items).
• Delete call-to-action buttons if you do not have a specific website destination for the customer.
