Create a lead-capture landing page in Mailchimp

Step-by-step
- Navigate to Audience and select Sign up forms
- Click Create landing page and enter a name for the page
- Select a lead generation template
- Hover over the background image and click Image to upload a new one
- Click the pencil icon on the headline to edit the text and formatting
- Click the email submission form and update the confirmation message in the properties editor
- Click Save and Close to exit the editor
- Click Edit title and icon to upload a site icon for the browser tab
- Configure the Social share preview with an image and description
- Click Publish
Options
- Connect a custom domain instead of using the default Mailchimp URL
- Add customer logos and social proof to the page layout
- Adjust the default Mailchimp URL slug
Watch out for
- Connecting a custom domain costs an additional $10 per month and is not included in standard plans
Tips
- Use a landing page if you do not already have a website
- Upload a site icon (favicon) to make the site look more professional
- Configure the social share preview so the link doesn't appear blank when shared on social media
- Test the published page by entering an email address to ensure contacts are being added correctly
