Authenticate a custom domain in Mailchimp

Walks through the domain authentication process using the Entri integration to verify a custom domain for better deliverability.
Step-by-step
- Click on your profile icon in the top right corner
- Select Account and Billing
- Click on Domains
- Locate your domain and click Start Authentication
- Click Continue to use the Entri integration
- Provide the email and password for your domain hosting account
- Confirm the DNS changes requested by Entri
- Click Done once authentication is complete
Watch out for
- Modern email clients will likely mark emails as spam if the domain is not authenticated
- If you are unsure about the DNS changes being made to an established domain, cancel and consult technical help before proceeding
Tips
- Authenticate your domain to give Mailchimp permission to send emails on your behalf
