Kit: Set up a visual automation workflow

Demo summary
Shows how to build a welcome sequence from scratch using triggers (joining a form) and conditional logic based on email opens.
Step-by-step
- Go to Automate and click on Visual Automations
- Click New Automation and select Start from scratch
- Choose a starting entry point, such as Joins a form
- Select the specific landing page or form from the dropdown and click Add Event
- Click the plus icon to add a step and select Add condition
- Define the condition logic, such as whether they opened the email within the past 2 days
- Add different email sequences to the 'Yes' and 'No' paths of the condition
- Go to the Send section and click Sequences to create the individual emails for each path
Options
- Use a pre-made Kit template instead of starting from scratch
- Trigger automation via Tag added, Custom field, or Purchase
- Create re-engagement sequences for users who do not open the initial email
Watch out for
- You must have a landing page or form created previously to select it as a trigger
Tips
- Use a 2-day window for your open-condition to decide between standard follow-ups or re-engagement
- I strongly recommend you look into this and set it up for yourself
- Set up sequences that continue for days or months to automate your marketing without manual effort
Highlights
“you can see how powerful this email automation can be. You can easily set up emails that continue on for days or months without having to lift your finger”
