Step-by-step

Click on Create a landing page and select a template
Modify the background by removing the image and adjusting the color and transparency
Edit the text boxes and button colors to match your branding
Replace the placeholder image with your lead magnet image
Go to Settings to update the success message and set a custom URL
Navigate to the Incentive tab to choose between auto-confirming subscribers or requiring a multi-step confirmation email
Upload your lead magnet file under the Download option
Click Save and Publish, then use the Share button to copy the live link

Options

Auto-confirm new subscribers instead of using multi-step confirmation
Set a reCAPTCHA form for security
Connect to Google Analytics, Facebook Business, or Google Tag Manager
Choose what to display if a user is already subscribed

Watch out for

Removing the 'Built with Kit' logo requires a paid plan; it remains visible on the free plan

Tips

Avoid using confusing background images that make the text hard to read
Ensure both form fields are set to 'required' to capture complete lead data
Open the official link in a new tab and send a test submission to confirm the delivery flow works
