Kit: Setting up a visual automation workflow

Step-by-step

  1. Open the Automations tab
  2. Click to create a new automation
  3. Select a trigger such as a tag being added or a product purchase
  4. Click the plus icon to add a new step
  5. Select the Email Sequence option
  6. Choose the specific sequence you want to link to the automation
  7. Add conditional logic using filters or if/then statements to branch the workflow

Options

  • Trigger the automation via a subscriber joining a specific tag
  • Trigger the automation via a product purchase
  • Enable filters based on whether a subscriber has opened a specific email

Watch out for

  • You must have a sequence already created to select it within the automation editor

Tips

  • Use conditional statements to make the automation more interesting and personalized based on subscriber behavior
