Demonstrates setting up the recommendations feature to cross-promote with other newsletters on the Kit platform.
Step-by-step
- Go to Grow and click on Recommendations
- Click on Set up recommendations
- Select your category and click Next
- Select your topic and click Next
- Upload a profile picture and add a profile heading
- Customize your bio
- Choose whether to share your location
- Browse the creator list and click Recommend on specific newsletters
- View your selected creators in the My Recommendations tab
Options
- Toggle location sharing on or off
Watch out for
- Requires a paid Kit plan
Tips
- Customize your bio to make yourself unique
- Recommend other creators to encourage them to reciprocate and recommend you back
