Kit: Create a lead magnet automation trigger

Demo summary
Demonstrates setting up a visual automation from scratch, using a form join as the trigger to start an email sequence.
Step-by-step
- Go to Automations and select Visual Automations
- Click Create a new automation
- Select Start from scratch and click Start Building
- Choose Joins a form as the trigger event
- Select your specific landing page or form from the dropdown list
- Click Add an event
- Click the plus icon and select Email sequence under Action
- Type a name for a new sequence or select an existing one from the list
- Click Create new and Add action
Options
- Use pre-built automation templates instead of starting from scratch
- Add a Delay action to wait a specific number of days or until a custom date
- Add additional events or conditions to the automation path
Watch out for
- You must have a landing page or form already created to select it as a trigger
Tips
- Start with an empty automation to have full control over the build
- Name your automation and sequences clearly (e.g., 'Test Lead Magnet Email') so they are easy to find later
- Send the lead magnet via an automated email sequence rather than a simple page redirect to ensure it reaches their inbox
