Mailchimp: Create image groups and social footers

Demonstration of adding image groups to a template, linking them to external URLs, and configuring social media icons in the footer.

Step-by-step

  1. Drag the Image Group block into your email template.
  2. Click Upload an Image to select and insert your desired graphics.
  3. Select an image and click the Link icon to paste a destination URL.
  4. Click on the Social Footer block to edit business social links.
  5. Use the dropdown menus in the footer settings to switch platforms (e.g., change Twitter to Instagram).
  6. Paste your specific profile URLs into the corresponding link fields.
  7. Click Preview and Test to view the layout in Desktop and Mobile modes.
  8. Click Save and Exit and name your template to finish.

Options

  • Add more social services to the footer by clicking Add Another Service
  • Link images to YouTube videos, blog posts, or product pages

Watch out for

  • The Inbox preview mode is a paid version feature and cannot be accessed on free plans.

Tips

  • Ensure you replace the default placeholder social URLs with your actual profile links.
  • Check the mobile preview to ensure the image group and footer look professional on smaller screens.
