Step-by-step

Click Edit on your newsletter campaign
Configure the To field and select a merge tag like first name to personalize the recipient line
Set the From line to show who the email is from
Write a subject line and preview text
Go to the Send Time section
Select Send Now
Click the Send button to launch the campaign

Options

Use Mailchimp's AI to generate subject line ideas
Create AB tests for subject lines
Use Send Time Optimization to send when recipients are most likely to open
Use Time Warp to send based on the recipient's local time zone

Watch out for

Personalizing the To field with merge tags requires a Standard plan or higher
Send Time Optimization and Time Warp are only available on the Standard plan and higher
Free plan users can only use the Send Now option
Images may not display for all recipients if you are not yet a trusted sender

Tips

Personalize the To field to help avoid junk folders
Treat subject lines like YouTube titles to encourage clicks
Always include preview text as almost everyone uses it
