Kit: Building an inline subscription form

Demo summary
Walks through selecting a form template, customizing fields, changing button styles, and setting up the incentive (double opt-in) email with a lead magnet download.
Step-by-step
- Click Create New at the top of the dashboard and select Form.
- Choose the Inline display format.
- Select a template from the available options.
- Click on text elements like the button or labels to edit their copy.
- Use the plus (+) icon to add new fields like First Name.
- Drag and drop fields to rearrange their order.
- Navigate to Settings and select Incentive to configure the confirmation email.
- Click Save and Publish to finalize the form.
Options
- Choose between Inline, Modal, Slide-in, or Sticky Bar display formats.
- Change button colors and general styles in the sidebar.
- Switch templates at any time via General Styles.
- Enable 'Auto-confirm new subscribers' to bypass the double opt-in requirement.
Watch out for
- You cannot freely move elements around the page; the layout is structured and template-based.
- Custom fields like 'Last Name' or 'Phone Number' must be created manually in the Subscribers section before they appear as options in the form builder.
- The visual layout (stacked vs. side-by-side fields) depends on the width of the container where you embed the form.
Tips
- Keep the incentive email (double opt-in) enabled to ensure high-quality traffic and verify subscriber willingness.
- Use descriptive labels like 'Enter your first name here' to improve user experience.
- Rearrange fields so that First Name typically appears before the Email field.
