Kit: Create and embed inline or popup forms

Demo summary

Demonstrates creating an inline form, adjusting styles and background images, and accessing the JavaScript embed code for website integration.

Step-by-step

  1. Click the Create new button and select Form.
  2. Choose a form type: Inline, Modal, Slide in, or Sticky bar.
  3. Select a template from the available options.
  4. Click on text elements to edit content and adjust font size or weight.
  5. Go to General Styles to replace the background image.
  6. Configure form settings such as redirect URLs and incentive emails.
  7. Click Publish to access the embed options.
  8. Copy the JavaScript code and paste it into your website.

Options

  • Choose between Inline, Modal, Slide in, or Sticky bar display types.
  • Use Unsplash to source background images directly in the editor.
  • Embed via JavaScript, HTML, Share link, WordPress, or Unbounce.
  • Use HTML embed code for custom CSS/layout changes if you are a web developer.

Watch out for

  • The WordPress embed option requires the Kit WordPress plugin to be installed.

Tips

  • I wouldn't recommend 'sign up to the newsletter' being your title; use something more compelling.
  • Decrease the font size if text wraps awkwardly to different lines.
  • JavaScript is the most ideal embed method because it automatically syncs any future changes made in Kit to your live site.

Highlights

here it looks very familiar. This is exactly like the landing page editor.
