Step-by-step
- Navigate to the Email settings tab
- Verify your signup email address by clicking the confirmation link in your inbox
- Click Add an email address to input a professional paid email if you currently use a free provider
- Scroll down to the physical address section
- Enter your business address or copy the provided Kit office address if you do not have a physical location
- Toggle the Unsubscribe survey to the On position
- Click Save changes
Options
- Use Kit's physical business address instead of your home address
- Configure GDPR settings
Watch out for
- Free email providers like Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail will negatively impact deliverability and increase spam marking
- You must read and agree to Kit's five terms of service points before using their physical business address
Tips
- I do suggest that you get a professional email like ivan@ivan.com; it's not a free email because this will impact your deliverability
- Turn on the unsubscribe survey for your own reference so you can tell how relevant your audience is
- If your email status is unconfirmed, click resend email to trigger the verification link
