Importing subscribers to Kit

Demo summary

Demonstrates how to upload a CSV file or manually add subscribers to the Kit platform, including mapping data fields.

Step-by-step

  1. Navigate to the Subscribers tab
  2. Click the Add Subscribers button
  3. Choose between manual entry or uploading a CSV file
  4. Upload your CSV file from Excel or another platform
  5. Map the data fields from your file to the corresponding fields in Kit
  6. Select a tag or segment to categorize the imported subscribers

Options

  • Import subscribers as 'Confirmed' by default
  • Manually add individual subscriber details
  • Upload a pre-made CSV file

Watch out for

  • You must map the 'First Name' and 'Email' fields correctly for the import to function

Tips

  • Organize your subscribers into segments or tags during the import process to keep your list clean
