Using the enhanced Render dialog in REAPER

Demo summary
The creator demonstrates the new render features, including playing back rendered files directly from the dialog, viewing loudness indicators, and using 'dry run' to find clipping points with markers.
Step-by-step
- Open the Render dialog and perform a render or a dry run
- Hover your mouse over the red loudness indicator line to view specific volume levels
- Click anywhere within the render waveform display to set the playhead
- Press the play button to listen to the rendered file directly from the dialog
- Make a time selection within the waveform to loop a specific section
- Select 'Dry run, no output' from the render options to check for clipping without saving a file
- Press 'M' during or after the render to drop markers at specific points in the waveform
Options
- Render a time selection instead of the full project
- Perform a 'Dry run' to analyze audio without generating an output file
Tips
- Use the dry run feature to identify clipping points via the small red lines in the display
- Drop markers at clipping points during the render so you can easily find and fix them in the project later
