Youtube Create: Trimming and splitting clips in the timeline

Step-by-step
- Tap on the clip in the timeline to enter edit mode
- Drag the white handles on the left or right of the clip to adjust the start and end times
- Position the playhead and tap the scissors icon to split a clip
- Select a clip section and tap the trash can icon to delete it
- Press and hold on a clip to drag and reposition it in the timeline
Options
- Remove middle sections by making two cuts and deleting the center
- Remove middle sections by making one cut and dragging the handle of the remaining clip
Tips
- Zoom in on the timeline to get a higher level of accuracy when trimming
- Use the scissors tool to remove bad takes or mistakes from the middle of your footage
