  1. Deselect existing clips by tapping a blank area of the screen
  2. Tap Overlay in the bottom left menu
  3. Select the video clip you want to add and tap Import
  4. Tap and hold the overlay clip in the timeline to slide it to the desired start position
  5. Pinch to zoom, rotate, or drag the clip in the preview window to scale and position it
  6. Use the side handles to adjust the start and end times
  7. Use the scissors icon to split the overlay clip if you need to remove sections

Options

  • Scale the overlay to fit the entire screen to hide the primary footage
  • Add multiple overlay clips by returning to the Overlay menu

Tips

  • Note that the audio from the primary clip underneath will continue to play while the overlay is shown
