Trimming and splitting clips in YouTube Create

The demonstration shows how to use white handles to trim the start and end of a clip and how to use the split tool (scissors) to remove sections of a video.
Step-by-step
- Tap on the clip in the timeline to select it
- Drag the white handles on either side of the clip to adjust the start or end time
- Position the white playback marker at the point where you want to make a cut
- Tap the scissors icon to split the clip
- Select the unwanted section of the clip
- Tap the delete button on the side menu or scroll the bottom menu to find Delete
Options
- Remove gaps by dragging the start handle of the second clip back to the cut point
- Remove sections by making two cuts and deleting the middle segment
- Access the delete function via the side button or the bottom scrolling menu
Tips
- Use the side delete button for faster access compared to the bottom menu
