Cubase 15: Setting up an Effects Send for multiple tracks

Demo summary

Greg shows how to select multiple drum tracks and add a single Reverb Effects Track, then adjust the individual send levels for each drum.

Step-by-step

  1. Select all desired drum tracks in the project
  2. Right-click on the selected tracks
  3. Select 'Add Effects Track to Selected Tracks'
  4. Choose the specific effect, such as RoomWorks reverb
  5. Navigate to the 'Sends' section for an individual track
  6. Adjust the send level slider to blend the amount of effect for that specific track

Options

  • Adjust individual send levels to send more or less signal to the shared effect (e.g., more reverb on snare than kick)

Tips

  • Use a single reverb instance for multiple tracks to save on audio performance/CPU usage
  • Send multiple tracks to the same reverb to create a sense of cohesion and make them sound like they are in the same room

Highlights

using effect sense for reverbs is great
