Step-by-step

  1. Select the Grid Type from the top menu (Bar, Beat, or Use Quantize)
  2. Hold Control and press the plus or minus key on the keypad to move the playhead forward or back by the selected grid increment
  3. Open Key Commands and search for Grid Type to assign custom shortcuts
  4. Press Control + 1 to set the left locator at the current playhead position
  5. Press Control + 2 to set the right locator at the current playhead position

Options

  • Move by Bar increments
  • Move by Beat increments
  • Move by Quantize increments (e.g., eighth notes)
  • Assign custom key commands (e.g., Numpad 7 for Bar, 8 for Beat, 9 for Quantize)
