Step-by-step

Open SliceX
Select Auto slice and choose a grid size such as small or medium
Click the gear icon to access pitch settings
Pitch the sample down
Right-click the top area to select and drag an EQ effect onto the sample
Click through the sliced segments to find a melody
Add delay to the sample chops

Tips

Incorporate rhythm into your sample chops and add delay to blend them into something new that doesn't sound like a basic two-step chop.
