Demonstrates using the Bulk Tag feature to apply a tag to a list of email addresses pasted directly into Mailchimp.
Step-by-step
- Click Tags in the left navigation menu
- Select the desired audience from the Current Audience dropdown
- Click Bulk Tag
- Type the name of the tag you want to apply
- Select the Paste Email Addresses option
- Paste the list of email addresses into the text field
- Click the Tag these emails action
- Click Apply tag
Options
- Import email addresses from a file (spreadsheet or CSV) instead of pasting
Watch out for
- Mailchimp will ignore any addresses that are not already in your audience when using the bulk tag feature
Tips
- Use the bulk tag feature to tag a specific group of contacts all at once if you have their information saved in a spreadsheet
