Mailchimp: Tagging contacts from the contact table

Demo summary

Demonstrates how to select specific contacts or all contacts in the audience table and apply a new or existing tag.

Step-by-step

  1. Click the audience icon to view all contacts
  2. Select specific contacts by checking the box next to their names or use the arrow to 'Select All'
  3. Click the 'Tag Contacts' button
  4. Type a new tag name in the search box or select a preexisting one
  5. Select 'Add Tags' from the Choose Action dropdown
  6. Click Apply

Options

  • Use the view dropdown to show up to 100 contacts per page
  • Select all contacts in the audience at once
  • Create a new tag or apply an existing one

Tips

  • Use specific tags like 'Farmer's Market attendee' to easily segment your audience for targeted promo codes
