Demo summary
Using rulers and the Pen Tool, the user draws a custom cursor shape from scratch, adjusts its fill and stroke, and animates a clicking motion using scale keyframes.
Step-by-step

- Drag one vertical ruler to the middle and one on each side with equal distance
- Use the Pen Tool to draw the cursor shape by clicking points along the ruler guides
- Adjust the Fill color and Opacity in the Pen Tool settings
- Apply a Stroke effect to the shape
- Adjust the anchor point and rotate the shape to a cursor angle
- Set a Position keyframe to move the cursor from outside the frame to the target
- Animate a click by setting Scale keyframes: original size, scaled down two frames later, and back to original size two frames after that
Options
- Select different Stroke effects, such as the neon effect

Tips
- Use the blue alignment lines shown by Filmora to ensure the bottom corners of your shape are perfectly level
