SunoTry it →Watch full video →Logic Pro Life ·

Demo summary

The user navigates the Suno UI to select specific instruments for extraction using the Advanced Split tool, explaining the difference between standard extraction and the new regeneration-based process.

Step-by-step

  1. Navigate to the Edit menu
  2. Select Get Stems MIDI
  3. Choose Advanced Split from the available extraction methods
  4. Select specific instruments or drum pieces from the list of nearly 100 options
  5. Initiate the regeneration-based extraction process

Options

  • Use Auto Split to extract the standard list of 12 items
  • Use Split from Mix to separate vocals from the rest of the track
  • Extract individual drum pieces, strings, or woodwinds

Watch out for

  • Many of the advanced split options are currently in beta and may not be perfect yet

Tips

  • Use the Advanced Split tool if you are a musician wanting to learn a specific part from a track where you lack the original project files
  • Note that Advanced Split regenerates the part rather than just performing a traditional extraction

Highlights

this new thing called advanced split... is something that I think is going to revolutionize stem extraction
