Step-by-step
- Select Integrations from the lower left corner of your Klaviyo account
- Click Explore Apps in the upper right corner
- Search for Shopify and click Install
- Paste your Shopify store URL and click to begin the connection
- Enable the option to sync Shopify email subscribers to Klaviyo
- Select or create a Klaviyo list to route new subscribers to
- Configure optional SMS sync and profile data sync settings
- Click Connect to Shopify
- Verify the integration information and click Integrate
Options
- Sync text subscribers (SMS and RCS) to a specific list
- Sync profiles and profile data from Klaviyo back to Shopify
- Sync updates for all Klaviyo profiles or only those existing in Shopify
- Select specific data types to sync such as names, consent statuses, or profile properties
Tips
- Select your primary newsletter list so all new subscribers flow directly into your main marketing audience
- Enable profile syncing to keep customer information aligned across both platforms and eliminate data silos
