CapCut: Create a custom green screen effect

Demo summary
Demonstrates adding a screenshot behind a subject in post-production using overlays, background removal, and layer management in CapCut.
Step-by-step
- Split the clip at the point where you want the effect to begin and end.
- Duplicate the selected section.
- Convert the duplicated clip into an overlay and align it perfectly on top of the original.
- Mute the audio on the overlay clip.
- Select 'Remove background' on the overlay clip.
- Add a second overlay containing the screenshot or image you want to use as the background.
- Go to 'Layers' and adjust the order so the cutout (subject) is in front of the screenshot.
- Resize and drag the screenshot to fit the frame.
Watch out for
- The overlay audio must be muted to prevent double audio tracks.
Tips
- Use the 'split' tool to isolate the specific section where you are pointing or talking about the subject to trigger the effect.
