Step-by-step

  1. Add your text and adjust the font and style as desired
  2. Select the video clip and click Duplicate
  3. Select the duplicated clip and choose the Overlay option
  4. Drag the overlay clip to align it perfectly on top of the original clip
  5. Select the overlay clip and use the Remove Background tool
  6. Select the overlay clip again and open the Layers menu
  7. Drag the overlay layer to be in front of the text layer

Options

  • Use 'Anton' or 'System' fonts
  • Use 'Custom Removal' for the background removal process

Watch out for

  • The overlay clip and the original clip must be perfectly in line with each other

Tips

  • Position the text where you want it to appear behind the subject before duplicating the clip
  • Use the Anton font if you want a bold brand-style look
