Midjourney Web Interface and Organization

Demo summary

The video demonstrates how to generate images using the 'Imagine' prompt bar on the Midjourney website and how to organize generations into smart folders using keywords.

Step-by-step

  1. Type your prompt into the 'Imagine' bar and hit Enter
  2. Click the drop-down on the right of the prompt bar to adjust parameters
  3. Open the 'Create' tab to watch images generate in real-time
  4. Navigate to the 'Archive' tab to view your generation history
  5. Hold Shift and click-drag to manually select multiple images for folders
  6. Create a smart folder by typing a keyword to automatically group images containing that word in the prompt

Options

  • Hit the up arrow key to retrieve your previous prompt
  • Filter the archive by upscaled images, aspect ratio, or Midjourney version
  • Change the archive layout to 'Full' to see uncropped images
  • Adjust thumbnail size in the archive view
  • Search the archive by date using the sidebar

Tips

  • Get into the habit of liking your good generations to find them easier later
  • Use smart folders for specific styles or subjects, like 'logo', to instantly organize your history
