Step-by-step

Open the masking panel at the top of the side panel
Select Custom Mask and choose Linear Gradient
Click and drag on the image to place the gradient
Adjust the fade and angle by dragging the gradient lines
Select Subtract and use the brush tool to remove the mask from specific areas like trees or buildings
Adjust the exposure, highlights, and whites sliders to modify the masked area
Adjust the color temperature slider to change the sky's color

Options

AI masking for automatic detection of eyes, face, hair, and backgrounds

Tips

Drag the gradient lines further apart to create a more gradual fade out
Lower the exposure by about half a stop to make the sky pop
