Step-by-step

  1. Select a clip within the timeline
  2. Drag the clip to a new position or a different track
  3. Hover over the boundary of a clip to reveal the trim handle
  4. Drag the clip boundary outward to restore previously deleted audio

Options

  • Move clips to a new track even if the track does not exist yet

Watch out for

  • Non-destructive restoration only works if you have been using clips for your edits

Tips

  • Use non-destructive editing to fix mistakes later in the process without having to undo every subsequent step
