Adobe Express: Saving and applying effect rack presets

Demo summary

The creator builds a chain of effects including echo and chorus, saves them as a custom preset, and applies that preset to a different track in the multi-track session.

Step-by-step

  1. Select the track in the multitrack session where you want to build your effect chain.
  2. Add desired effects such as Echo, Chorus, and Scientific Filter from the Effects Rack.
  3. Click the Save Preset button within the Effects Rack.
  4. Enter a name for your preset and click OK.
  5. Select a different track in your session.
  6. Open the preset dropdown menu and select your newly saved preset to apply the chain.

Options

  • Adjust echo delay times independently for left and right channels
  • Use 'Subtle Vocal Chorus' from the modulation menu
  • Apply a 'Drop off below 250Hz' preset within the Scientific Filter

Watch out for

  • Move any sound effects off the target track if you do not want the preset applied to them as well.

Tips

  • Save your custom effect chains as presets to quickly apply consistent processing across different voiceover tracks.

Highlights

Pretty cool and pretty easy way to cool effects really easily when you're working with audio in the multitrack presets. Simple to save and easy to use.
