MoisesTry it →Watch full video →Home Studio Simplified ·

Demo summary

The user demonstrates isolating vocals and instruments from a finished track while showing the real-time chord detection, capo adjustment, and section looping features.

Step-by-step

  1. Load your mixed and mastered track into Moises
  2. Use the mixer sliders to isolate or mute specific stems like vocals, drums, or guitars
  3. View the real-time chord detection displayed above the waveform
  4. Adjust the Capo setting to transpose the chord display to your preferred key
  5. Toggle the Lyrics view to see the AI-transcribed text and chord chart
  6. Click on Sections to view the song structure (Intro, Verse, Chorus, Bridge)
  7. Select a specific section to jump directly to that part of the song
  8. Adjust the Speed changer to slow down or speed up the BPM for practice

Options

  • Change the key register to hear how the song sounds in a lower pitch
  • Enable a count-in for practice sessions
  • Toggle between different instrument stems including piano, strings, and electric guitar

Watch out for

  • AI separation is not always perfect and may struggle with fine-tune accuracy in complex mixes
  • Lyrics transcription may contain minor errors (e.g., mishearing specific names or words)

Tips

  • Use the Capo adjustment feature if you are a guitar player to see updated chords relative to your fretboard
  • Slow the song down to 70% or lower to make learning difficult sections easier
  • Use the Sections tool to skip parts you've already mastered and focus on practicing specific segments like the chorus or bridge

Highlights

this is probably one of the most powerful if not the most powerful algorithm that I've seen that's been able to do this and do it well
