Izotope Rx: Comparing multiple processing settings

The demonstrator shows how to use the 'Compare' history to toggle between original audio and two different De-plosive settings before rendering.

Step-by-step

  1. Select the audio segment containing the plosives
  2. Open the De-plosive module
  3. Click the Compare button to generate a preview of the first setting
  4. Adjust the module settings to create a different variation
  5. Click Compare again to render a second preview setting
  6. Toggle between the Original, Setting 1, and Setting 2 in the comparison list
  7. Select the preferred setting and click Render to apply the changes

Options

  • Isolate the plosives to ensure the module is targeting the correct frequencies
  • Change and move various parameters within the module before hitting compare

Tips

  • Use the comparison tool to ensure changes are positively affecting the audio rather than introducing negative artifacts
