ActiveCampaign: Adding Actions and Logic to Workflows

Step-by-step

  1. Click the Plus Sign in the automation builder to open the actions menu
  2. Select a sending option such as a marketing email, 1-to-1 email, or SMS
  3. Add workflow actions like wait steps or if/else conditions to create personalized pathways
  4. Use the Contacts tab to manage tags or update custom fields
  5. Select CRM actions to automate deal creation, status updates, or task assignments
  6. Toggle the automation from Inactive to Active in the top right corner to launch

Options

  • Send direct 1-to-1 emails for sales automation
  • Set wait steps for a specific period, until a specific date, or until conditions are met
  • Use a Go-To step to jump contacts to a different action in the workflow
  • Use a Goal step to pull contacts forward when conditions are met
  • Connect third-party tools via the Apps tab

  • Use 1-to-1 emails to enhance sales automation
  • Leverage the CRM and automation partnership to eliminate manual deal management
