Import contacts via CSV to MailerLite

Step-by-step

  1. Click on Subscribers on the left sidebar
  2. Click on Add Subscribers
  3. Drag and drop your CSV file into the upload area
  4. Click on Import Subscribers
  5. Create a new group or select an existing one for the contacts
  6. Map the spreadsheet columns to MailerLite attributes using the dropdown menus
  7. Select Skip this column for any data fields you do not wish to import
  8. Click on Finish Import

Options

  • Upload a CSV or text file
  • Copy and paste from Excel
  • Add each subscriber manually
  • Import directly from Mailchimp

Watch out for

  • You must manually tell MailerLite which fields correspond to 'Name' and 'Last Name' if they are not automatically recognized

Tips

  • Export your contacts from your previous email marketing platform into a CSV file for the most universal import method
  • Skip unnecessary data columns like random ID numbers or IP addresses to keep your subscriber data clean
