Photopea: Clone parts of an image

Demo summary
Shows how to use the Clone tool to sample an area (like a cat's eye) and paint a duplicate of it elsewhere.
Step-by-step
- Select the Clone tool from the toolbar
- Hover over the area you want to copy
- Hold down Alt and click to set the source point
- Adjust the brush size if necessary
- Click and drag on a different part of the image to paint the cloned area
Options
- Use the Healing Brush tool instead of the Clone tool for removing blemishes
Watch out for
- If the brush size is too large, the tool will start copying the surrounding area beyond your intended subject
Tips
- Use the crosshairs that appear when holding Alt to precisely select your source area
