Demo summary

The user demonstrates applying saved mood boards and personalization profiles to prompts in the Midjourney Alpha interface to change the artistic style.

Step-by-step

  1. Navigate to the images section in the Midjourney Alpha interface
  2. Toggle on the Global Profile to apply personal style settings
  3. Select a saved mood board from the mood boards menu to add it to the prompt
  4. Add additional mood boards or style profiles by clicking them
  5. Remove specific mood boards by clicking the X on the tag under the prompt
  6. Turn off HD mode if using mood boards
  7. Click Submit to generate the images

Options

  • Toggle Global Profile on or off
  • Combine multiple mood boards simultaneously
  • Switch between different model versions (e.g., Version 7 vs Version 8)
  • Untick specific style descriptors like 'dystopian vapor wave'

Watch out for

  • Mood boards cannot be used with HD mode turned on
  • Global profiles may not affect images as significantly as mood boards in some instances

Tips

  • Check the tags directly under your prompt to verify which profiles and mood boards are currently active
  • Use Version 7 for a more artistic look and Version 8 for more photorealistic styles
  • Combine mood boards like 'dystopian vapor wave' and 'old film' to achieve a mixed aesthetic

Highlights

it has done a great job of mixing them, which I think in the past hasn't worked quite as well
