Step-by-step

Log into the ElevenLabs platform
Click on Sound Effects in the left panel
Navigate to the prompt area at the bottom of the screen
Type a detailed description of the sound you want to create
Click the Generate button
Use the media player controls to preview the audio
Click the download button to save the file to your device

Options

Use the search bar to find existing pre-generated audio clips instead of creating new ones

Tips

Include details about ambiance, tone, and specific elements in your prompt to give the AI a clear picture
Check the generation cost displayed next to the generate button before clicking, especially if you are on a budget
