Step-by-step

  1. Click Sound Effects in the left menu
  2. Enter a description of the desired sound in the prompt box
  3. Toggle Looping on if the sound needs to blend seamlessly from end to beginning
  4. Adjust the Duration slider or leave it on Auto
  5. Set the Prompt Influence percentage to control model creativity
  6. Click the Generate button
  7. Preview the four generated variations
  8. Click the download button or add to favorites

Options

  • Preview, download, or copy prompts from community-generated sound effects
  • Filter the library by category, looping status, or duration
  • Set duration manually from 0.6 to 30 seconds

Watch out for

  • Auto duration may result in excess silence at the end of short sounds
  • Generating sounds consumes credits based on the duration set

Tips

  • Use the community library to get ideas for what kind of prompts produce specific effects
  • Lower the Prompt Influence to let the model be more creative; raise it to keep the output more constrained
  • Manually shorten the duration for simple sounds like dings to save credits and avoid silence
