  1. Insert a song onto the timeline
  2. Right-click the song and select Smart Edit Tool
  3. Click Beat Detection to automatically highlight song beats
  4. Right-click the song again and navigate to Beat Options to adjust frequency
  5. Select the desired beat interval, such as every one beat or every four beats
  6. On mobile, select the song and tap Beats to generate markers
  7. Click the check mark to apply the yellow beat dots to the mobile timeline

Options

  • Change beat identification from every four beats to every one beat
  • Use the desktop Smart Edit Tool or the mobile Beats menu

Tips

  • Use the 'every one beat' setting to add more markers for precise clip timing
