Step-by-step
- Click on the deal to open the details view
- Navigate to the recent activity section
- Click to add a task
- Enter a title and select a task type
- Assign the task to a team member and set a due date
- Click Save Task
- Click Send an email in the upper right corner
- Enter a subject line and compose the message body
- Click Send
Options
- Adjust the task type to categorize it properly
Tips
- Use the recent activity section to view the entire history of interactions related to a deal
- Send emails directly from the deal interface to keep communication tied to the record for easy reference
