ComfyUI: Importing workflows from image metadata

Demo summary

Shows how to drag an existing AI-generated image into the ComfyUI canvas to automatically reconstruct the entire node workflow used to create it.

Step-by-step

  1. Locate an image previously generated using ComfyUI
  2. Drag the image file directly onto the ComfyUI canvas
  3. Wait for the interface to automatically reconstruct the node workflow

Options

  • Download images shared by other users online to import their workflows

Watch out for

  • The image must contain the original metadata; if the metadata has been deleted, the workflow cannot be reconstructed

Highlights

how cool is that so like if you go online and other users have shared their comy UI generations... you can actually download their image and then drag and drop that image onto comy UI to look at the entire workflow
