Hallease demonstrates manual editing on the timeline, using the 'S' keyboard shortcut to split clips and delete unwanted sections of the video.

Click the Video button to open a new window
Drag and drop your video file into the editor
Move the playhead to the desired point on the timeline
Split the clip by clicking the three dots in the corner and selecting Split, or by pressing the S key
Select the unwanted section of the clip
Press Delete to remove the section

Use the space bar to quickly stop the playhead exactly where you want to make a cut
Get granular with your edits by making as many cuts as needed to remove 'flubs' or mistakes
