Text to Video generation in Google Flow

Demo summary

The user demonstrates how to configure settings like output count and aspect ratio before entering a text prompt for a drone shot and generating a video using the Veo 3.1 fast model.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the Text to Video tool
  2. Adjust the output count to one to save credits
  3. Select between landscape or portrait aspect ratios
  4. Choose the 'Fast' model
  5. Enter a text prompt manually or paste one from an AI assistant
  6. Click the arrow icon to generate the video

Options

  • Generate two videos simultaneously
  • Use the 'Quality' model instead of 'Fast'
  • Toggle between landscape and portrait ratios

Watch out for

  • The Quality model consumes five times more credits than the Fast model

Tips

  • Set the output to one video to avoid consuming credits too quickly
  • Use the Fast model as the Quality model currently shows no significant improvement
  • Ask Gemini or ChatGPT to write a prompt for you based on your ideas

Highlights

The generation was pretty fast for me, under 2 minutes for a video.
