Step-by-step

  1. Locate the pink highlighted hesitations or pauses in the transcription
  2. Click the drop-down arrow in the top left corner to open Suggested Edits
  3. Select Delete All Hesitations to remove them from the audio and transcript
  4. Select Shorten All Pauses to reduce the duration of gaps
  5. Adjust the pause duration settings and click OK
  6. Hover over edit marker lines and select Restore Audio to revert changes if needed

Options

  • Silence All Hesitations instead of deleting them to replace audio with silence
  • Restore audio back to the original recording using the non-destructive editor
