Create a new track in the DAW
Click the three dots to find the recording option
Record your audio part directly into the track
Hold Command while dragging the audio clip to nudge it off-grid for precise alignment

Watch out for

Use headphones while recording to prevent the song from bleeding back into the microphone
The recording button is currently located behind a three-dot menu in the beta version

Tips

Nudge the track manually if you experience timing issues or latency from recording off laptop speakers
Use Command + drag to disable grid snapping for fine-tuned placement
