Step-by-step
- Click Create Track and select the Step by Step option
- Choose a genre from the available pages and click Select
- Enter a text prompt to generate a new chord progression
- Click Next to generate the instrument layers like percussion and bass
- Adjust the volume slider if the preview is difficult to hear
- Click Next to enter the composition name and set the desired duration
- Wait for the track to finalize in the composition list
Options
- Listen to genre previews before selecting
- Play the chord progression straight through before adding instruments
- Edit notes for individual instrument layers
- Set a specific duration range (e.g., 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds)
Watch out for
- You cannot change the chords once you have moved past the chord progression stage to the instrument generation stage

- Read the 'best practices' guide provided in the prompt window for better results
- Turn up the volume slider during the instrument generation phase as it can sometimes be hard to hear
