- Click Add Track
- Select Generate AI instrument
- Choose a drum style or select AI match
- Open the Settings tab to access Creative Control
- Adjust Conditioning strictness and Context strictness sliders
- Mute any existing tracks you do not want the AI to listen to for context
- Click Generate stem
Options
- Select AI match to let the AI decide the best style
- Choose specific presets like Nashville, Alternative, Classic Rock, or Arena
- Enable Use project chords to guide the model based on your chord progression
- Adjust Harmonic strictness to follow chords and keys
Watch out for
- The AI will listen to and use any unmuted tracks in the project to generate the new stem
Tips
- Lower the Conditioning strictness value to give the AI more creative freedom
- Increase Context strictness if you want the AI to follow your uploaded audio example very closely
- Generate multiple different styles of drums to compare and decide what sounds best with the track
- Mute newly generated stems before generating additional versions so the AI doesn't listen to its own previous outputs
