ActiveCampaign: Customize form fields and layout

Demo summary

Demonstrates using the drag-and-drop editor to add headers, first/last name fields, phone numbers, images, and CAPTCHA to a form.

Step-by-step

  1. Click the header or descriptive message to edit text in the right side panel
  2. Drag the first name and last name fields from the toolbar to the form
  3. Drag the phone number, image block, and CAPTCHA fields onto the form
  4. Click the image block and select the image icon to open the Content Manager
  5. Select an existing file or upload a new one to the Content Manager
  6. Select custom fields from the bottom of the toolbar to add them to the form
  7. Click the submit button to customize its text in the right side panel

Options

  • Collect first and last name as separate fields
  • Add custom fields created in your account
  • Customize field headers and default text

Watch out for

  • Email is always required as it is the unique identifier for contacts

  • Collect first and last name as separate fields to easily use personalization tags in future campaigns
